Use the software on its own or as a VST, Audio Unit, or AAX plug-in in all major DAWs (including Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and FL Studio). Four ways to input sound using the 16 pads – drum in pad mode, play melodies in Keyboard mode, create chord progressions in Chord mode, and program in a classic step-sequencer style from Step mode. Ich war vorher langjähriger Maschine-Studio-Benutzer und bin begeistert, dass NI den gewohnten und geliebten Workflow als Standalone-Gerät umgesetzt hat. Dadurch bekommt man bei Bedarf bis zu 16 Ausgänge, soweit ich weiß. Aber unterdessen kann man über USB class-compliant Audio-Interfaces anschließen, welche problemlos unterstützt werden. 
Früher hätte ich noch bemängelt, dass es nur einen einzigen Stereo-Out gibt. Die Darstellung auf den beiden Displays ist stets sinnvoll und übersichtlich.ĬV wäre nett gewesen, deswegen einen kleinen Punktabzug. Im Gegensatz zur MPC gibt es auch einen wirklich guten Song-Modus (nicht nur so halbherzig), mit dem man komplette Tracks produzieren kann. Dafür gibt es viele sinnvoll belegte Tasten. Die Bedienung ist top - für mich persönlich besser als bei der MPC Live, obwohl es keinen Touchscreen gibt. Neben dem offensichtlichen Einsatzgebiet als Drum-Machine steuere ich mehrere Hardware-Synths über MIDI damit und benutze auch die internen Synths. Maschine+ ist das Zentrum meines "DAW less" Setups (in Gänsefüßchen, weil es natürlich eine kleine DAW ist).
